Translated cancer information and help in your language
We have a range of translated cancer information in 16 languages. If you cannot find what you need you can request some translations in other languages. We also have an interpreter service on the Macmillan Support Line. Just call 0808 808 0000 and tell us, in English, the language you need.
Barnsley Hospital Translation Service
An interpreter service is available within the hospital to help.
Please let your team know as soon as possible that you will need some help from an interpreter. The hospital can arrange this for you so that you can feel comfortable, understand information provided and also be understood more effectively.
On-demand service is available using a telephone service. The teams will have access to 20 different languages so ensuring communication is clear and supportive. We use this in preference to relatives perhaps interpreting as it is easier for everyone.
